Corporate Travel Specialist
SoftConstruct is looking for a Corporate Travel Specialist to manage travel logistics and vendor relationships. The role involves ensuring company travel policies are followed while maintaining cost efficiency and operational smoothness.
The specialist will oversee travel arrangements for employees, handle complex itineraries, and provide leadership to the travel team. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, particularly when managing travel disruptions or emergency situations.
- Negotiate with travel vendors (hotels, car rental agencies) to secure the best prices and services for the company.
- Implement and enforce company travel policies to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Develop travel itineraries for employees, ensuring timely bookings and smooth travel logistics.
- Monitor and control travel budgets, ensuring that all travel expenses remain within company guidelines.
- Assist in managing and overseeing the travel team, offering guidance and support as needed.
- Handle any escalated travel issues or emergencies, resolving problems quickly and efficiently.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, changes in travel regulations, and emerging technologies.
- Ensure all necessary travel documents (visas, insurance) are organised and processed in a timely manner.
- Prepare detailed travel reports and provide analysis to senior management to improve efficiency and optimise travel costs.
- Bachelor’s degree in tourism, travel, or hospitality management (or a related field) (required).
- At least 2-3 years of experience in corporate travel management (required).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines, last-minute changes, and emergency travel situations (required).
- Fluency in Armenian, English, and Russian (both written and spoken) (required).
- Microsoft Office Suite (required).
