Description

SoftConstruct is on the search for a Graphic Designer. The role involves developing creative concepts and layouts that effectively communicate the brand message and engage target audiences. It ensures consistency and high standards of visual design across all company touchpoints, adhering to brand guidelines.

The successful candidate will create and edit graphics for promotional campaigns, digital marketing, and social media content. They will produce innovative and visually appealing designs for both print and online media, maintaining high quality and accuracy. Collaboration with stakeholders is key to gather feedback, iterate on designs, and refine concepts as needed. Staying up to date with design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies is essential to continuously improve creative output. The role also includes managing and organising design files and assets, participating in brainstorming sessions, and carrying out other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor that align with the job description and comply with the labour code.

Responsibilities

  • Produce innovative and visually appealing designs for both print and online media, maintaining high quality and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback, iterate on designs, and refine concepts as needed.
  • Stay up to date with design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve creative output.
  • Manage and organise design files and assets to ensure they are accessible, well-organised, and version-controlled.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to creative strategies and ideas.
  • Carry out other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor that align with the job description and comply with the labour code.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (required).
  • Additional certifications or courses in design, UI/UX, or related areas (preferred).
  • Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, etc.) (required).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing diverse design projects, including digital, print, and branding materials (required).
  • Understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy (required).
  • Knowledge of web design and user interface (UI) principles (preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure high-quality, error-free work (required).
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines (required).
  • Ability to receive and incorporate feedback in a professional manner, making adjustments to designs when needed (required).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (required).
  • Knowledge of motion graphics and video editing (preferred).
  • Good working knowledge of English (required).
