Junior Bookamaker
SoftConstruct is seeking a Junior Bookmaker to join its team. The role involves analyzing and monitoring betting activity, adjusting odds, and cooperating with Senior Traders and the Risk Management and Pre-Match teams to ensure effective trading operations and risk control.
The Junior Bookmaker will monitor sporting events and stay up to date with relevant industry developments and market trends. The role also involves proposing tailored betting types and solutions for regional partners based on their specific business needs and requirements, and providing support to regional partners on matters related to the platform, betting products, and trading operations. Additional tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor that fall within the scope of the position and comply with applicable labor legislation will also be performed.
- Analyze and monitor betting activity and adjust odds when necessary.
- Cooperate with Senior Traders and the Risk Management and Pre-Match teams to ensure effective trading operations and risk control.
- Monitor sporting events and stay up to date with relevant industry developments and market trends.
- Propose tailored betting types and solutions for regional partners based on their specific business needs and requirements.
- Provide support to regional partners on matters related to the platform, betting products, and trading operations.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor that fall within the scope of the position and comply with applicable labor legislation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- 0–2 years of experience in sports betting, trading, or a related analytical role (required).
- Previous experience in the trading field will be considered an advantage (nice-to-have).
- Good overall understanding of sports and sporting events (required).
- Strong numerical, mathematical, and analytical abilities (required).
- Comfortable working efficiently under time pressure and in a dynamic environment (required).
- Strong problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail (required).
- Willingness to learn, develop quickly, and adapt effectively in a dynamic work environment (required).
- Willingness to work in shifts, including evening hours and weekends (required).
