Litigation Counsel
CreedRoomz is currently looking for a Litigation Counsel to join the team. The role focuses on managing the company's litigation portfolio and providing legal support for its regulated gaming operations in Brazil.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing litigation strategies, supervising external legal counsel, and advising internal stakeholders on legal risks. The position requires close collaboration with various departments to ensure compliance and mitigate legal exposure within the gaming and betting sector.
- Manage the Company's litigation portfolio, including employment litigation, consumer, commercial, regulatory, and player disputes.
- Develop and implement litigation and settlement strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Supervise external law firms, review legal work, monitor deadlines, budgets and performance.
- Assess litigation risks, prepare legal opinions and support contingency and provision assessments.
- Coordinate the resolution of player and consumer complaints and administrative proceedings before regulatory authorities.
- Advise internal stakeholders on litigation risks and legal developments affecting the gaming and betting business.
- Prepare litigation reports, analyse litigation trends and recommend measures to reduce legal exposure and prevent future disputes.
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, HR, Finance, Customer Support and Operations to support the Company's regulated gaming operations in Brazil.
- Law degree and active OAB registration (required).
- 5+ years' experience in litigation, preferably in gaming, betting, fintech or another highly regulated industry (required).
- Strong experience managing labour, consumer and commercial disputes (required).
- Experience coordinating external counsel and managing high-volume litigation (required).
- Excellent analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management skills (required).
- Fluent Portuguese and professional English (required).
