Mechatronics Engineer /Mechanics + Electronics/
CreedRoomz Live Casino is looking for motivated, well-organised, and goal-oriented individuals with an analytical mindset and a high sense of responsibility to join the new technical production team at SoftConstruct.
- Design and develop functional prototypes using platforms such as Raspberry Pi, NVIDIA Jetson, Arduino, and ESP.
- Develop algorithms for object, colour, and symbol detection, with a particular focus on recognising the state of game elements using Python and OpenCV.
- Select, connect, and configure various hardware components, including cameras, sensors, actuators, and lighting systems.
- Write efficient code to manage low-level communication with peripheral devices via GPIO, I2C, UART, and SPI protocols.
- Bridge the gap between hardware and software by integrating systems with backend services through REST APIs, WebSockets, or MQTT.
- Perform rigorous testing of embedded systems to ensure stability and real-time performance in diverse environments.
- Maintain a structured and well-documented knowledge base of tests, updates, and experiments.
- Support interdepartmental collaboration during pilot projects, deployments, and innovative testing in real or demonstrative studio environments.
- Ensure adherence to internal technical standards, safety regulations, and confidentiality agreements.
- Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor that comply with the labour code and align with the work regulations.
- CAD knowledge: In-depth knowledge of SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar 3D modelling software (required)
- Experience with Blender will be considered an advantage (nice-to-have)
- Electronics knowledge: Deep understanding of power electronics, including motor drivers, MOSFETs, and relays (required)
- Microcontrollers: Practical experience with STM32, ESP32, Arduino, and single-board computers like Raspberry Pi or NVIDIA Jetson (required)
- Operating systems: Proficiency in working with stepper motors, servo motors, and basic pneumatic systems (required)
- Printed circuit board design tools: Experience with at least one professional PCB design package (KiCad, Altium, etc.) (required)
- Manufacturing: Practical experience with 3D printers (FDM/SLA) and electronic rework (SMD soldering) (required)
- Component selection: Ability to analytically match electronic components to mechanical requirements (torque, power, thermal constraints) (required)
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Armenian (required)
