Description

SoftConstruct is seeking a Prediction Markets Operations Manager to work the night shift. This role involves managing the lifecycle of prediction markets, from brainstorming and launching trendy topics to overseeing resolution and payouts.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and B2B partners to ensure engaging, fair, and timely market experiences. The position requires a proactive individual who can monitor global trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge in the prediction market space.

Responsibilities
  • Brainstorm and launch compelling, trendy, and engaging prediction markets across diverse verticals (e.g., current events, novelty, pop culture, esports, entertainment, tech, and custom partner themes).
  • Draft clear market titles, precise resolution criteria, settlement rules, and operational terms to prevent ambiguity and ensure fair play.
  • Continuously update, curate, and optimize the active platform layout to highlight high-converting and trending prediction topics.
  • Oversee market resolution and payouts, ensuring transparent, timely, and verified outcomes based on trusted primary sources.
  • Collaborate with B2B partners, operators, and affiliates to create bespoke, co-branded prediction markets tailored to their specific audiences or campaigns.
  • Drive engagement mechanisms (e.g., community polling, dynamic odds adjustments, viral market concepts) to ensure partners and players have an entertaining experience.
  • Monitor competitor offerings, product features, UI/UX innovations, and pricing models across crypto, sportsbooks, and standalone prediction platforms.
  • Stay ahead of viral social trends, news cycles, memes, and industry shifts to build real-time prediction markets before competitors.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as total trading volume, active users, margin/hold, liquidity, and settlement times.
  • Work alongside risk and fraud teams to establish limits, manage exposure on custom events, and spot potential manipulation or abnormal betting activity.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to improve trading interface UX, automation tools, and automated market resolution pipelines.
  • Carry out other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor that align with the job description and comply with the labor code.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field (required).
  • Previous experience in B2B, customer support, or any related role (required).
  • Deep interest in pop culture, global current events, technology, internet culture, and novel entertainment formats (required).
  • Ability to draft airtight market rules and analyze trading volume/margin data to optimize future offerings (required).
  • Background in sports journalism, community management, content creation, or trading/sports platforms (preferred).
  • Openness to continuous learning and adapting to new process improvements (required).
  • Excellent written communication skills (English required) for writing clear market specs and engaging with internal partners and stakeholders (required).
  • Adaptive, creative and UpToDate for many trends taking place globally (required).
  • Comfortable working in night shifts (1:00 - 9:00) (required).
