Senior Auditor (Sportsbook)
SoftConstruct is seeking a Senior Auditor (Sportsbook) to join their team. The role involves auditing sports betting processes and operations to ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and fair play principles.
The Senior Auditor will verify the accuracy of sports event data, odds generation, and settlement procedures. They will also monitor betting activity for anomalies and suspicious patterns, and review documentation related to sportsbook operations, contracts, and payment systems.
This position requires evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, collaborating with IT and Risk teams on automated systems, and identifying operational risks for practical improvements. The role also includes preparing detailed audit reports and carrying out other assigned duties.
- Audit sports betting processes and operations to ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and fair play principles.
- Verify the accuracy of sports event data, odds generation, and settlement procedures.
- Monitor betting activity to detect anomalies, suspicious patterns, or potential manipulation.
- Review documentation and procedures related to sportsbook operations, contracts, and payment systems.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls within the sports betting environment.
- Collaborate with IT and Risk teams to assess automated systems used in sports betting.
- Identify operational risks and propose practical improvements to mitigate them.
- Prepare clear and detailed audit reports summarizing key findings and recommendations.
- Carry out other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor that align with the job description and comply with the labor code.
- Higher education in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Sports Management, or a related field (required).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in auditing, sports betting operations, or a relevant financial role (required).
- Strong understanding of sports betting mechanisms and financial flows (required).
- Knowledge of audit methodologies and risk assessment (required).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting/audit software (required).
- Knowledge of ArmSoft (nice-to-have).
- Ability to review complex data, assess outcomes, and validate system processes (required).
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail (required).
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities (required).
- High level of integrity and professional responsibility (required).
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment (required).
- Fluency in Armenian, with good knowledge of English and Russian (both written and spoken) (required).
