Senior Treasury Analyst
SoftConstruct is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst to join its international treasury department. The role focuses on managing liquidity, financial risk, and banking relationships to support the company's financial operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for optimising cash flow forecasting, executing hedging strategies, and managing treasury systems. This position requires a professional capable of driving automation and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Develop, maintain, and optimise medium- to long-term cash flow forecasting models.
- Analyze daily liquidity requirements, ensure optimal cash distribution across bank accounts, and manage target balances.
- Monitor cash pooling, sweeping structures, and execute intercompany financing and funding strategies.
- Evaluate daily and periodic shortfalls/surpluses and propose optimal short-term investment or borrowing solutions.
- Monitor financial market trends, interest rate movements, and foreign exchange (FX) volatility.
- Execute foreign exchange hedging strategies and spot/forward transactions to mitigate market risk.
- Assess counterparty credit risk and bank exposures in line with internal corporate risk limits.
- Support capital structure analysis, debt maturity profiling, and covenant tracking for existing facilities.
- Serve as a key point of contact for banking partners, financial institutions, and rating agencies.
- Lead the implementation, optimization, and administration of Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and ERP treasury modules.
- Rationalize bank account structures, negotiate bank fees, and streamline operational banking services.
- Drive automation and digitisation initiatives across cash management and treasury workflows.
- Prepare executive treasury dashboards, sensitivity analyses, and quarterly liquidity risk reports for management.
- Ensure full compliance with internal treasury policies, financial covenants, regulatory standards, and internal controls.
- Coordinate internal and external audit procedures related to treasury, debt, and derivative transactions.
- Review treasury operations, recommend process enhancements, and mentor junior operational specialists.
- Carry out other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor that align with the job description and comply with the labor code.
- 4–6+ years of progressive experience in corporate treasury, financial risk management, or corporate banking analysis (required).
- Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Quantitative Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field (required).
- Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CTP, ACCA) (nice-to-have).
- Deep knowledge of corporate treasury, financial risk management (FX/Interest Rate), cash forecasting, and working capital optimization (required).
- Hands-on experience with FX trading platforms, Bloomberg/Refinitiv terminals, and electronic banking systems (required).
- Fluent in English and Armenian (both written and spoken) for international banking and corporate communications (required).
- Advanced knowledge of Treasury Management Systems (TMS), ERP (SAP, Oracle, or similar), and advanced quantitative modeling in Excel (required).
- TMS and ERP system administration, treasury automation, and payment workflow optimization (required).
- Bank relationship management, fee analysis, and counterparty credit evaluation (required).
- Regulatory compliance, financial covenant tracking, and executive treasury reporting (required).
