Special Project Manager
SoftConstruct is looking for an ambitious and dynamic Special Project Manager to join the team. This role focuses on managing projects related to regulated market entry and technical compliance.
The Special Project Manager will act as a key liaison between internal departments and external regulatory bodies to ensure that platform modifications and integrations meet all necessary standards. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying risks, managing testing processes, and streamlining workflows to ensure project goals are achieved efficiently.
- Plan and lead projects for entering regulated markets, ensuring all technical requirements are identified, documented, and implemented effectively.
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies, and consultants to understand market-specific standards and oversee the technical implementation of compliance measures.
- Coordinate across teams to ensure timely delivery of platform and products modifications and integrations required for certification.
- Monitor updates to regulations in existing markets, ensuring all technical aspects of the platform remain compliant.
- Act as the point of contact for audits, renewals, and any technical inquiries from regulatory authorities.
- Liaise with internal departments, including development, QA, legal, and compliance, to align project goals and ensure a unified approach.
- Foster strong communication with stakeholders to keep projects on track and within scope.
- Manage comprehensive testing processes, including internal QA and external certification with regulatory bodies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing to meet regulatory deadlines.
- Proactively identify and implement improvements in workflows to enhance the efficiency of compliance-related projects.
- Utilise project management tools and techniques to streamline task tracking and reporting.
- Carry out other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor, which are in line with the job description and do not contradict the labour code.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (required)
- 1-3 years of technical project management experience in gaming, software, or other regulated industries (required)
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Confluence) (required)
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies (required)
- Experience in managing compliance or certification projects, with a track record of delivering results (required)
- Good understanding of APIs, database systems, and regulatory reporting frameworks (required)
- Ability to perform manual testing using tools such as Postman and other relevant tools to validate integrations and troubleshoot issues (required)
- Deep knowledge of project management methodologies (required)
- Experience working closely with C-level executives and leadership teams (required)
- Fluency in Armenian, English and Russian, both written and verbal (required)
