AML Compliance Consultant
SOFTSWISS is looking for an experienced AML Compliance Consultant. In this role, the consultant will provide expert guidance on anti-money laundering (AML) compliance, supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of compliance frameworks for clients operating within the Estonian regulatory environment.
As an AML Compliance Consultant, the consultant will support the design, implementation, and maintenance of AML compliance frameworks, helping clients navigate regulatory requirements and strengthen their compliance practices. The consultant will act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance on AML obligations while contributing to the development of effective compliance processes.
- Provide end-to-end AML compliance consulting services to clients operating within the Estonian regulatory framework.
- Advise on the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of AML policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Support clients in interpreting and applying applicable AML legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor regulatory developments and recommend practical improvements to compliance frameworks.
- Prepare and review compliance documentation, risk assessments, and internal procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver effective compliance solutions and support business objectives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of compliance processes and promote best practices across projects.
- Native or professional fluency in Estonian (required).
- English proficiency at B2 level or above (required).
- Must be a current resident of Estonia (required).
- 2+ years of experience in AML, compliance, financial crime prevention, or a related regulatory field (required).
- Strong knowledge of the Estonian AML regulatory framework (required).
- Experience developing, implementing, or maintaining AML compliance programmes and policies (required).
- Experience working within fintech, iGaming, financial services, payments, or other regulated industries (nice-to-have).
- Experience advising clients or multiple business stakeholders on compliance matters (nice-to-have).
- Familiarity with risk-based AML approaches and regulatory best practices (nice-to-have).
- Experience engaging with regulatory authorities or supporting regulatory inspections (nice-to-have).
