Finance Manager (Internal Accounting) – Middle
SOFTSWISS continues to expand the team and is looking for a Middle Finance Manager (Internal Accounting). The role focuses on supporting the monthly closing process, cost allocation activities, and transactional accounting operations across business lines and legal entities.
The role focuses on execution, accuracy, reconciliation, and analytical support within established methodologies and processes.
- Participate in the monthly cost allocation process across business lines, products, and legal entities.
- Prepare and calculate allocations of shared and overhead expenses.
- Support month-end close activities related to: Cost allocations, Revenue accruals and cut-off procedures.
- Support AR/AP closing activities.
- Perform reconciliations and consistency checks for allocated costs and transactional data.
- Review and validate primary accounting data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Support revenue recognition processes and ensure proper cut-off.
- Analyze variances and investigate discrepancies within assigned areas.
- Collaborate with FP&A, Business Lines Finance, HR, IT, and Group Closing teams within assigned scope.
- Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within management accounting.
- Higher education in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (required).
- 2–4 years of experience in management accounting, cost accounting, or general accounting (required).
- Hands-on experience participating in month-end closing processes (required).
- Practical understanding of cost allocation principles and accrual accounting (required).
- Experience with AR/AP processes (required).
- Good understanding of P&L structure and cost behavior (required).
- Strong MS Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, working with large datasets) (required).
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems (1C, Xero, or similar) (required).
- English: Intermediate or higher (required).
- Fluency in Russian (required).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines (required).
- Responsible and structured approach to assigned areas (required).
- Experience in iGaming, fintech or digital product companies (nice-to-have).
- Experience working in international or geographically distributed groups (nice-to-have).
- Participation in finance automation, system implementation or process optimization initiatives (nice-to-have).
