Technical Operations Manager – Junior
SOFTSWISS is hiring a Junior Technical Operations Manager to join their PSP Operations Team. The role will act as a key point of contact for resolving transaction and payment-related issues, rolling out custom payment method setups, and analysing recurring problems to drive improvements.
The position combines technical expertise in payment systems with operational oversight to enhance client experience, ensure accurate transaction processing, and support the continuous optimisation of payment workflows.
- Respond to technical requests from first-line support regarding transactions and payment methods.
- Roll out custom payment method configurations for new clients on their websites.
- Troubleshoot payment and transaction issues.
- Ensure payment systems operate efficiently.
- Interact with payment systems.
- Analyse recurring payment problems and report findings.
- Work with other teams, including second-line support, Finance, Account Managers, and B2C.
- Experience in Fintech/Payments industry as an Operations Manager/B2B technical support (2nd line) (required)
- Clear understanding of how the Payment System works (required)
- Strong knowledge of transactions flow (required)
- Knowledge of the basics of WEB architecture (required)
- Higher or incomplete higher education, preference for graduates of technical universities (preferred)
- English and Russian not lower than Upper Intermediate level (required)
- Knowledge of the basics in programming (data types/basic operators/functions) (required)
- Experience with JIRA, Jenkins, GitLab (nice-to-have)
- Experience with monitoring systems (ELK) (nice-to-have)
- Understanding of information and application security, SSH, and access credentials (nice-to-have)
