Accountant (m/f/d)

The Accountant reports to the Accounting team lead. This role would suit an ambitious, energetic person keen to progress further in dynamic, fast-growing business.
- Support timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare reconciliations across the balance sheet including bank, creditor/debtors, prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, settlement (control) accounts.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing tasks and ensure timely completion.
- Assist with ad hoc projects and requests.
- Work collaboratively with the finance team and other departments.
- Perform ongoing financial control functions in accordance with the Sportradar internal control policies.
- Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentation.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (required).
- Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in accounting, preferably in an international company or BIG4 (required).
- Understanding of IFRS is essential (required).
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) (required).
- Professional MS Office skills – especially Excel (required).
- Dynamic 365 accounting software knowledge is a plus (nice-to-have).
- The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience.
