Description

This exciting opportunity has opened to assist with day-to-day accounting operations for international companies within the Sportradar Group. The role will offer career progression and you will improve your skills leading to a successful career as a qualified accountant.

The Accountant reports to the Accounting team lead. This role would suit an ambitious, energetic person keen to progress further in dynamic, fast-growing business.

Responsibilities
  • Support timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare reconciliations across the balance sheet including bank, creditor/debtors, prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, settlement (control) accounts.
  • Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing tasks and ensure timely completion.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and requests.
  • Work collaboratively with the finance team and other departments.
  • Perform ongoing financial control functions in accordance with the Sportradar internal control policies.
  • Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentation.
Requirements
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (required).
  • Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in accounting, preferably in an international company or BIG4 (required).
  • Understanding of IFRS is essential (required).
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) (required).
  • Professional MS Office skills – especially Excel (required).
  • Dynamic 365 accounting software knowledge is a plus (nice-to-have).
Benefits
  • The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience.
