Manager, Revenue Planning and Analytics

Description

Sportradar is seeking a Manager, Revenue Planning and Analytics to serve as the primary performance auditor of commercial outcomes. Reporting to the VP of Revenue Performance and Planning, the role involves interrogating financial data to identify performance trends and recommending strategic actions to maximise value. The position requires a professional who can translate complex data into compelling narratives for senior stakeholders while driving revenue and margin growth through a transformative planning process.

This role focuses on moving beyond simple reporting to identify specific revenue drivers such as usage, churn, pricing, and market trends. Sportradar expects the successful candidate to pressure-test global P&L inputs, dismantle broken assumptions in commercial plans, and build robust, actionable frameworks that guide business counterparts through forecasting and budgeting.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct deep-dives into revenue beats or misses to distinguish between one-time windfalls and core structural trends.
  • Lead commercial counterparts through the forecasting and budgeting process to ensure submissions are robust and logically sound.
  • Create elegant solutions for complex business topics like pricing elasticity and market entry costs.
  • Build automated revenue reporting using advanced analytical and reporting tools on top of data warehouse and billing data sets to steer commercial decision making.
  • Proactive revenue performance analysis to identify specific revenue drivers that management must focus on.
  • Interrogate inputs that feed the global P&L to ensure every forecast is achievable and rooted in actionable drivers.
  • Identify and dismantle broken assumptions in commercial plans and rebuild them into actionable, robust frameworks.
  • Translate complex technical and commercial data into clear, authoritative narratives for senior stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years in a multidisciplinary finance, analytics, and/or consulting role (required).
  • High proficiency in either commercial finance or commercial analytics (required).
  • MBA or relevant master’s degree (preferred).
  • SQL, Power BI / Tableau, and AI agents knowledge (required).
  • Experience with Python or n8n/workflow automation (nice-to-have).
  • An accountability mindset that values the strength of a plan over the speed of its delivery (required).
Benefits
  • Collaborative environment with colleagues from all over the world.
  • Various social events and teambuilding.
  • Flexibility to manage workday and tasks with autonomy.
  • Balance of structure and autonomy to tackle daily tasks.
  • Vibrant and inclusive community, including Women in Tech and Pride groups.
  • Global Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Access to Calm and Reulay apps for well-being.
  • Online training videos.
  • Flexible working hours.
