Platform Engineer (m/f/d)
Sportradar is seeking a Platform Engineer to join its engineering enablement team. The role involves building internal products for the organisation, including an Internal Developer Platform to empower software teams, a central pipeline to enable the SLDC, an observability platform for high-value telemetry, and an infrastructure platform to host the organisation's workloads through containers.
The successful candidate will work alongside development teams to design, automate, and scale resilient infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines optimised for rapid, secure delivery. They will develop reusable frameworks and abstractions that remove friction in deploying, running, and monitoring services, enabling developers to focus on creating outstanding products. The role also involves driving the adoption of engineering best practices by mentoring peers, shaping standards, and transforming outdated processes into modern, maintainable solutions. Contributions to automation initiatives to minimise manual tasks, reduce operational risk, and ensure consistency across both legacy and new applications are expected. Proactive engagement with engineering teams to gather feedback and continuously evolve the platform, tooling, and developer experience is also a key aspect of the role.
