Senior Application Specialist

Description

The Senior Application Specialist reports to the Application Manager for Finance Systems and is part of the internal Finance Operations engineering team. This role involves taking technical ownership of Dynamics 365 F&O and connected financial systems within the Corporate Systems Unit at Sportradar. The unit supports strategic initiatives within finance systems, connecting with all areas of the business to support the growth and utilisation of applications across the organisation.

The specialist works closely with the finance department to understand business needs and deliver customised solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Collaboration with business stakeholders, the internal Finance Operations team, and third-party providers is essential to ensure that requirements are accurately implemented and thoroughly tested. The role focuses on the technical management of applications, permission management, and the provision of operational support, alongside the execution of various compliance controls.

Responsibilities
  • Manage various financial enterprise systems, including Dynamics 365 F&O, OneStream, and Kyriba, with a primary focus on Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Advise finance departments on best practices and approaches to meet their requirements.
  • Proactively suggest improvements for existing processes.
  • Perform compliance controls for relevant finance applications.
  • Oversee maintenance and access management for the applications.
  • Provide technical support to financial teams.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of different Dynamics 365 F&O modules, such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General ledger, Fixed assets and Tax (required).
  • Proficiency in configuring Dynamics 365 F&O (required).
  • Familiarity with integration tools and data migration techniques (required).
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Power Platform and other relevant technologies (nice-to-have).
  • Working knowledge of AI agents such as automation, copilots, or agentic workflows (required).
  • Comfortable working with non-technical colleagues (required).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills (required).
  • Ability to transfer business requirements into technical solutions (required).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (required).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently (required).
  • Interest in learning new applications and environments (required).
  • Willingness to travel and collaborate with colleagues in other Sportradar offices (required).
