Sportradar is seeking a Trading Analyst to join the Managed Trading Service (MTS) team in Central London. The role involves managing liability for bookmakers and lotteries by overseeing both pre-match and live odds across various sports. The Trading Analyst plays a critical role in the daily operations of the service, ensuring effective risk management and high-quality betting performance.

This position requires an individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, making quick decisions under pressure while monitoring real-time betting activity. The analyst will work closely with data to provide insights, handle client queries, and contribute to the development of trading platforms and tools.

Responsibilities
  • Live and breathe sports by reacting to information reaching betting markets.
  • Real time monitoring of betting activity and risk management of client liabilities.
  • Explore and interrogate betting data by analysing a growing global client base.
  • Effective handling of betting operator queries.
  • Deliver insights in management ready reports.
  • Take ownership of improving betting performance.
  • Conduct customer segmentation to validate machine learning outputs.
  • Shape future ways of working by testing trading platforms.
  • Request and quality assure new tools and features.
Requirements
  • Strong familiarity with a wide range of sports, especially those popular in UK, European, and US betting markets. (required)
  • Extensive knowledge of betting markets, odds structures, and risk management of core betting sports (UK, European and US). (required)
  • In-depth understanding of odds correlation between betting markets. (required)
  • Exceptional mathematical skills, with proficiency in Excel or SQL for odds analysis. (required)
  • Experience working in a similar role within sports or betting industry. (nice-to-have)
  • Dependable decision-making skills when under a time pressure like the trading environment. (required)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. (required)
  • Experience using data visualization tools. (required)
  • Ability to take immediate action in a fast-moving trading environment. (required)
  • An initiative-taking team player, able to work with new teams. (required)
  • Proficient in MS Office, specifically Word and Excel. (required)
  • Flexibility to work with shift-based patterns. (required)
