Senior Full Stack Engineer
Sportsbet AU is looking for a Senior Full-stack Engineer to sit at the centre of its engineering ecosystem, elevating how teams build, ship and scale software. This role is all about enabling engineering excellence through world-class tooling, with a strong focus on GitHub, AWS, and modern development practices.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping and optimising the tooling used across the broader Sportsbet AU tech community, empowering teams to be more efficient, self-sufficient, and innovative. From driving platform improvements to embedding AI into engineering workflows, the role will help keep the company firmly at the forefront of technology.
- Own and evolve the engineering tooling ecosystem used across Sportsbet AU, with a strong focus on GitHub.
- Maintain and optimise the GitHub environment across all technology teams, continuously delivering new features and improvements.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, helping uplift capability and drive best practice adoption.
- Partner across the business to contribute to and support key initiatives across the broader technology suite.
- Champion engineering excellence by embedding modern practices, automation, and AI into day-to-day development.
- Deep engineering experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer, with strong backend and systems knowledge (required).
- Proven hands-on experience with GitHub, including managing and optimising enterprise environments (required).
- Strong experience with TypeScript and modern development frameworks (required).
- Experience working with AWS and cloud-native technologies (required).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence, collaborate and support teams across the business (required).
