Project Manager
Sporty Group is looking for a Project Manager to join their team in a remote capacity. The role focuses on building cohesive project plans, managing cross-team collaboration, and ensuring the effective delivery of initiatives across the organisation.
The Project Manager will be responsible for translating product goals into actionable plans, managing resources, and driving process improvements to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency. This position requires a proactive individual who can facilitate team ceremonies, manage stakeholder communications, and resolve production issues.
- Build project plans that ensure maximum utilisation of the team for impact.
- Partner with Product to translate their ‘Why?’ into a ‘What? Who? How? and ‘When’ in a cohesive plan.
- Where initiatives span multiple internal teams, the Project Manager leads cross-team collaboration, driving alignment and ensuring coordination.
- Coordinate the deliverables from external partners as necessary.
- Ticket creation and management in support of the roadmap.
- Project-level resource assignment and scheduling.
- Holds the team to a high bar, creating a culture of constant improvement. In areas such as ETA accuracy and code quality, the Project Manager identifies and drives process improvements.
- Provide on-demand, accurate status to stakeholders.
- Run all team ceremonies and meetings.
- Drive resolution of production issues.
- Have a keen attention to detail and be proud of their product.
- Must be based in EU timezone (required).
- Fluent in written and spoken English (required).
- Degree or Masters in a business or technology discipline (preferred).
- Demonstrated experience managing teams in an scrum framework (required).
- Experience in defining business requirements in the context of software and application development from a customer viewpoint (required).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail (required).
- Experience in working with UI/UX teams (required).
