Data Specialist (student)
The company is looking for a Data Specialist to lead the efforts in providing valuable insights for its product by annotating the data related to the sport results and reporting it back into the system. The role will join the wider Product Development department, working with the best talent to improve and enable all the relevant data to be sorted and well documented.
This is a part-time role on a student contract.
- Meticulously inputting and managing data related to sports events, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Recording critical match events such as lineups, goal scorers, cards, substitutions, assists, and more.
- Creating and maintaining accurate connections between players, teams, competitions, and seasons across various data sources.
- Upholding the highest standards of data quality and accuracy, ensuring users consistently receive trustworthy and precise information.
- Deep enthusiasm and comprehensive knowledge across various sports, with a particular emphasis on football. (required)
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including shifts, to ensure coverage of live sports events. (required)
- Strong focus and precision in executing tasks, ensuring the highest level of accuracy. (required)
- Solid computer skills, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and tools. (required)
