Employee Onboarding Specialist
Super Technologies is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to coordinate, programme manage, and continuously improve the onboarding experience for new hires across the organisation. As a key contributor within the Culture, Onboarding & Engagement team, the role involves owning the operational layer of onboarding and influencing the experience layer to help evolve the current Workday-based journey into a richer, persona-focused model with greater manager and team enablement.
Working closely with Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Tech & Data, IT, Local Offices and Talent & Culture, the Onboarding Specialist will help every new hire at Super Technologies ramp up smoothly and effectively.
- Coordinate the end-to-end onboarding journey from pre-start through the first 90 days, partnering with HR Ops, IT and Workday to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to new employee.
- Develop persona-based onboarding approaches tailored to different employee types, including individual contributors, managers, and office-based and remote populations.
- Maximise automation through Workday whilst partnering with local offices and cross-functional teams to deliver a personal welcome experience, from pre-start communications through to first-day logistics and content and support through a new hire’s first 90 days.
- Maintain and continuously improve onboarding checklists, timelines, templates, guides and process documentation.
- Drive manager and buddy enablement through manager learning, onboarding expectations, buddy training and 90-day plan guidance.
- Coordinate onboarding events, orientation sessions and learning activities, managing invitations, attendance tracking and reporting within Workday and the LMS/LXP.
- Manage the global new hire SWAG process, ensuring every new hire receives a Super Technologies welcome token on day one.
- Background in HR operations, learning & development, or Talent Acquisition, with a strong focus on the new hire experience (required).
- Highly structured and detail-oriented, with the ability to balance big-picture thinking with hands-on delivery (required).
- Proactive communicator and problem-solver, comfortable coordinating across multiple teams and stakeholders; strong stakeholder management skills (required).
- Proficient in HRIS and collaboration tools, with a passion for using technology and automation to improve content and processes (required).
- Systems-minded, using feedback and data to resolve issues thoughtfully and maintain high-quality onboarding materials (required).
- Adaptable and independent, able to manage complex workstreams whilst handling confidential information with discretion (required).
- Experience with Workday (Journeys and/or Learning) (nice-to-have).
