Office Manager (Part-Time Hours)
The Office & Employee Experience Manager is responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the Amsterdam office whilst creating an engaging, welcoming workplace culture. This role sits within the People function and partners closely with internal teams to deliver seamless operations, memorable employee experiences, and high-quality events. It plays a key part in shaping how employees feel about the workplace and how Super shows up as an employer. This role will be a part-time role, consisting of 20 hours per week across Monday to Friday.
- Oversee daily office operations, facilities, vendors, and supplies.
- Manage the office budget, contracts, maintenance, health & safety compliance, and onboarding logistics.
- Ensure the office operates smoothly and with minimal disruption.
- Create a welcoming environment for employees and new joiners, and represent the Amsterdam office within the wider business.
- Organise office rituals, celebrations, and engagement initiatives that foster inclusion and a strong team culture.
- Gather employee feedback and partner with People teams to continually improve the workplace experience.
- Plan and deliver internal and external events across the Netherlands, managing end-to-end logistics including budgets, venues, vendors, and communications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local event suppliers and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
- Provide focused administrative support to a small group of senior leaders, including coordinating complex meetings and travel arrangements.
- Act as a shared resource for high-impact administrative needs rather than full executive assistance.
- 3–6 years of experience in office management, employee experience, hospitality, EA, or event coordination - ideally with a culture-building focus in a scaling company (required).
- Native or fluent Dutch and full professional proficiency in English (required).
- A genuine people person, with energy that goes up when the office is busy (required).
- Confidence with vendor negotiation, budget tracking, and basic facilities and health & safety requirements (required).
- BHV certified, or willing to obtain certification within 3 months (required).
- Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace, Slack, expense tools (e.g. Spendesk, Pleo, SAP Concur), and Notion or similar (required).
- High levels of discretion, given proximity to sensitive information and senior stakeholders (required).
- Experience in tech, scale-up, or regulated industries (gaming, fintech, or similar) (nice-to-have).
- Background in hospitality, events, community building, or employee experience (nice-to-have).
- An established network of Amsterdam venues, caterers, and event vendors (nice-to-have).
- Salary for this role will be 28,000 EUR (for 20hrs per week).
