Product Design Manager - Manage & Transact

Description

Super Technologies is looking for a Design Manager to join its Product Design team and own the design direction for the Manage & Transact area. In this role, the successful candidate will lead a team of product designers working on the core transactional experiences that sit at the heart of the Super Technologies product - account management, deposits and withdrawals, transaction history, identity and verification flows.

These are high-stakes, high-frequency touchpoints that directly affect customer trust, retention, and commercial performance.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage and develop a team of product designers working across the Manage & Transact area.
  • Set the design direction and quality bar for account, payment, identity, and transactional experiences across web and native platforms.
  • Build a high-performing team - run regular 1:1s, set clear expectations, give direct feedback, support each designer's growth and career development, and drive programmes to close capability gaps through systems and rituals that raise the team's collective capability.
  • Own discovery and strategy for your area - frame the right problems, challenge the scope when needed, and build conviction around the design direction with cross-functional leadership partners.
  • Collaborate closely with senior Product, Engineering, Data, Research and Compliance stakeholders; manage up effectively, create clear escalation paths when needed, and champion responsible gaming and regulatory design standards - ensuring design decisions are compliant, considered and in the customer's interest.
  • Drive design consistency and quality across multiple product teams; monitor output, identify systemic issues before they compound, and build cases for design improvements that connect design outcomes to business performance.
  • Establish strong AI working practices within your team, including prompting standards, output-review norms and responsible use in high-stakes transactional contexts.
  • Contribute to Super Technologies' broader design culture through hiring, process improvements, external presence, and by defining what great design leadership looks like.
Requirements
  • Proven experience leading and developing product design teams, with a strong track record of both team health and design output (required).
  • Deep product design experience, with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking across complex, high-stakes digital products (required).
  • Experience owning design strategy for a product area - not just executing, but framing problems, shaping roadmaps, and influencing direction at a leadership level (required).
  • Strong commercial awareness - ability to link design decisions to business outcomes, build investment cases, and take ownership of team-level results (required).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, comfortable influencing at exec level, navigating conflicting priorities, and aligning cross-functional partners across large organisations (required).
  • Strong experience designing transactional, financial or identity-related digital experiences, with a deep understanding of trust signals, error handling, edge cases and compliance constraints (required).
  • A high bar for craft - opinionated on what great visual and interaction design looks like, and able to push quality across a team without doing all the work yourself (required).
  • Experience designing for regulated industries and an understanding of how to balance regulatory requirements with a great customer experience (required).
  • Ability to operate autonomously on highly ambiguous projects, make decisive progress and generate momentum for those around you (required).
  • Experience defining and monitoring success metrics, with comfort using data and research to update product strategy and mentor others on data-driven design (required).
  • A direct, constructive feedback style and ability to foster a culture of honest, high-quality critique across a team (required).
  • Ability to step in as a hands-on designer when needed - to unblock the team, model quality, or tackle a particularly complex problem - whilst keeping primary focus on leading through others (required).
  • Expert proficiency in Figma (required).
  • Strong English language skills, both written and verbal (required).
  • Experience designing payments, deposits, withdrawals, identity verification or account management products (nice-to-have).
  • Experience working in sports betting, gaming, or another regulated financial or consumer industry (nice-to-have).
  • Experience with design systems - contributing to or evolving shared component libraries and design tokens (nice-to-have).
  • Experience with experimentation, A/B testing or conversion optimisation in transactional flows (nice-to-have).
  • Experience using AI tools in the design process effectively and responsibly, including in high-stakes or regulated contexts (nice-to-have).
  • Track record of developing senior designers or other design managers (nice-to-have).
Benefits
  • Medical / Health Insurance
  • Open Annual Leave
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Training & Learning Development
  • Additional benefits vary by country and will be shared during the hiring process.
