Senior Backend Engineer (Elixir)

- Participating in code reviews, product design discussions, and whiteboard sessions.
- Helping ensure smooth knowledge transfer, resolving bottlenecks, and contributing to developing top-quality products.
- Designing and implementing real-time microservices with high availability, catering to the needs of the growing user base.
- Contributing directly to the design and code of an engaging social network that allows users to connect, share experiences, and interact during live events.
- Implementing features that enable dynamic content creation, video sharing, and participation in community challenges and leaderboards.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (required)
- Experience developing software applications (required)
- Excitement about technology and a willingness to learn (required)
- A proactive and ambitious mindset with a desire to make a difference (required)
- A pragmatic approach to software engineering, balancing innovative solutions with practical implementations (required)
- A keen eye for clean coding, simple solutions, automated testing, and continuous deployment (required)

- An interest in functional programming (Elixir is a plus, not a must) (nice-to-have)
- Knowledge of Kafka (nice-to-have)
