Senior Engineering Manager
Super Technologies is scaling fast and is hiring multiple Senior Engineering Managers to lead high-performing engineering teams across several product areas. In this role, you will drive technical excellence, shape impactful products, and play a key part in how Super Technologies grows and operates engineering at scale.
You will work in a collaborative, fast-moving environment where people leadership and engineering quality go hand in hand.
- Hire, lead, and develop a team of engineers - including tech leads, software engineers, and QAs - who report directly to you
- Ensure growth and development for all team members through coaching and mentoring, regular 1:1s, feedback sessions, and performance reviews; identify and remove roadblocks and distractions
- Nurture strong relationships with other engineering managers, tech leads, and product managers across the organisation
- Define priorities, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure regular updates and follow-ups on the team's scope of work
- Support engineering department goals by setting team requirements, objectives, and timelines
- Make relevant technical and business decisions that ensure predictable delivery in terms of timelines, stability, and performance
- Build and maintain a culture of engineering excellence - upholding high standards of quality and reliability
- Proven experience in both technical and people leadership within engineering (required)
- Strong track record of hiring engineers and establishing team culture (required)
- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (required)
- Servant leadership mindset with a hands-on approach to engineering on a daily basis (required)
- Experience resolving complex engineering and communication challenges (required)
- Strong time management, organisational, and multitasking skills (required)
- Experience hiring and scaling distributed teams across multiple domains (nice-to-have)
