Senior People Operations Specialist

Description

As an HR Operations Specialist, you will serve as the first point of contact for all HR-related queries whilst providing administrative support to the General Manager. You will be part of the wider HR Operations team, delivering support across all Super locations and playing a key role in improving processes, driving automation, and enhancing the employee experience throughout the full employee lifecycle.

HR Operations

Provide HR operations support and advice across multiple locations, covering the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, payroll, and offboarding.

Develop and implement HR ways of working to optimise processes, enhance employee experience, and align with business objectives.

Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with local labour laws and industry best practices.

Partner with the wider HR team to drive HR initiatives, ensuring alignment with company goals.

Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve HR service delivery in partnership with the HR Technology team.

Manage payroll in partnership with the external payroll provider, and maintain HRIS data to enable wider group reporting.

Employee Relations

Provide guidance to managers and employees on employee relations matters, HR policies, and conflict resolution.

Advise on HR issues including employee grievances, investigations, restructures, and disciplinary actions in accordance with legal guidelines.

Employee Experience & Support

Act as the first point of contact for employee HR-related queries, ensuring a smooth onboarding and offboarding experience.

Continually identify opportunities to improve services through automation, technology, and innovative ways of working.

Administrative Support

Provide general administrative support to the General Manager, including diary management.

Support the Office Manager with internal and external office events, and assist with booking and arranging annual conferences.

Requirements
  • Experience in HR operations within an international organisation, supporting multiple locations (required).
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems (HRIS), payroll platforms, and global employment laws (required).
  • Experience managing and creating policies in line with local legislation (required).
  • Experience in contract creation across various locations (required).
  • Knowledge and experience of payroll administration (required).
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities (required).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels (required).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines (required).
  • Strong initiative and a proactive, can-do approach to work (required).
