Senior Product Designer - Design System
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer, Design Systems to join our Design System team and help shape how Superbet looks, feels, and behaves at scale. You'll work alongside design system specialists who care deeply about craft, consistency, and the bridge between design and code. Our design team focuses on Figma and its translation into development, while our dev team bridges design and code, enabling consistent, cross-platform experiences. You'll be a key part of making that loop tighter, faster, and more delightful for the product teams who rely on us.
- Design, build, document, and maintain components, patterns, tokens, and assets that serve product teams across platforms
- Partner closely with our design system engineers to keep Figma and code in lock-step, ensuring what's designed is what ships
- Define and evolve component APIs - properties, variants, states, slots - with an eye on flexibility, predictability, and ease of use
- Own and grow our token system across themes, brands, and modes
- Write clear, concise documentation in Notion that helps designers and engineers adopt the system confidently
- Bake accessibility into the foundation of everything we ship - WCAG compliance, keyboard interactions, screen reader behavior, contrast, and motion preferences
- Bring components to life with thoughtful motion that enhances usability and reinforces the brand
- Support product teams through design reviews, audits, and contribution intake
- Define and uphold governance: versioning, contribution models, and deprecation communication
- Measure the health and adoption of the system, and use those insights to prioritize what to improve next
- Stay current with how AI is reshaping design workflows, and bring those tools into how we work
- Foster a collaborative and creative culture within the design system team and across the company
- Proven experience working on or contributing to a design system, with a portfolio that shows the depth of that work
- Expert proficiency in Figma - variables, modes, component properties, libraries, and an eye for keeping files clean and scalable
- Strong UI craft and motion design skills, with an understanding of motion principles and how animation supports usability
- Strong graphic skills, particularly in icon and illustration systems
- Solid accessibility experience and a genuine commitment to inclusive design
- A good understanding of how design translates into code - familiarity with component-based front-end frameworks, design tokens pipelines, and tools like Storybook or similar
- Strong proficiency in Notion for structured, maintainable documentation
- A systematic, organized, and tidy approach to your craft - naming, structure, and consistency matter to you
- Experience designing for diverse platforms (web, native) and an understanding of platform conventions
- Comfort and curiosity with recent AI tooling, and a track record of using AI to improve design and adjacent workflows
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills - design systems are a service, and you know how to listen, explain, and align
- A drive for learning, openness to feedback, and the ability to stay focused under pressure and shifting priorities
- Strong English language skills, both written and verbal
- Experience designing for or maintaining multi-brand, multi-region, or themeable systems
- Experience with Figma Code Connect or similar design-to-code workflows
- Mentoring skills and experience evangelizing a design system across product teams
- Experience working in sports entertainment or betting industry settings
