Cybersecurity Specialist

The InfoSec team is looking for an individual to help strengthen the protection of systems and respond to the rapidly changing challenges in cyber security. If there is a passion for InfoSec and a desire to develop competencies in this field, this position is for you.
This role is within a reputable IT company and offers the opportunity to develop professional skills in cybersecurity.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and analysing cyber threats and taking preventive action.
- Collaborating with IT teams to improve the security of systems and applications.
- Participating in security audits and recommending improvements.
- Supporting the implementation of and compliance with security standards (e.g. ISO27001).
Requirements
- Understanding of general IT issues (software and hardware) (required).
- Knowledge of InfoSec, including current threats in cyber security (required).
- Aspiration to independently expand knowledge in cyber security and its practical application (required).
- Proactive approach to tasks and a positive attitude (required).
- Ability to work as part of a team and build relationships within the team (required).
- Communicative; ability to express thoughts clearly and listen actively (required).
- Creative thinking and initiative in solving problems (required).
- Responsibility and commitment to completing tasks as assigned (required).
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems (nice-to-have).
- University degree with a major in computer science (nice-to-have).
- One year of experience in a similar position (nice-to-have).
- Good command of English to enable free communication (nice-to-have).
- Knowledge of security standards such as ISO27001 (nice-to-have).
- Ability to perform penetration testing of web applications (nice-to-have).
