PHP Backend Developer
Wazdan Services Limited is looking for a PHP Backend Developer who values clean, tested code, a pragmatic approach to architecture, and a tangible impact on the product. The role is for individuals with solid experience with PHP 8+, Symfony frameworks, who enjoy technical challenges and want to work with people for whom code quality is more than a slogan.
The developer will be responsible for creating and developing systems and applications, developing existing functionalities, creating and maintaining technical documentation, providing input during project meetings, and implementing best programming practices, optimising application performance and availability.
- Designing solutions and creating documentation: 10%
- Implementing new functionalities: 50%

- At least 2 years of commercial experience with PHP 8.x (required)
- Excellent knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Symfony 6 (required)
- Excellent command of relational databases and SQL (required)
- Experience working with Git and GitLab (required)
- Familiarity with Docker and Linux (required)
- Experience with CI/CD (required)
- Knowledge of the DDD and CQRS approach (required)
- Experience working with JIRA (required)
- Ability to write unit and integration tests (nice-to-have)
- Experience with CI/CD in a GitLab environment (nice-to-have)
- Experience working with Python (nice-to-have)
