Project Manager
Evoke plc is looking for a Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of cross-functional strategic business and technology initiatives. The role requires a blend of stakeholder management, business change leadership, project planning, delivery governance, and technical project management expertise to ensure initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes.
Using industry experience in betting and gaming, the Project Manager will be accountable for creating robust delivery plans, driving execution against agreed milestones, and holding teams accountable for delivery commitments whilst maintaining excellent relationships across business and technology functions.
They will also partner with business leaders to define and deliver measurable outcomes while assessing organisational impacts, shaping change strategies, and coordinating business readiness activities such as communications, training, process updates, and operational transition planning.
The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, Data, Architecture, Security, and Operations to develop integrated delivery plans, understand technical dependencies and risks, establish strong governance, manage RAID logs, ensure compliance, produce clear stakeholder reporting, and support effective decision-making through data-driven insights.
- Using betting and gaming industry experience, lead the end-to-end delivery of complex business projects from initiation through to implementation and benefits realisation.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans covering scope, milestones, resources, dependencies, risks, assumptions, and critical path activities.
- Establish clear workstream plans with defined ownership, deliverables, and success measures.
- Monitor delivery progress against agreed plans and proactively identify risks, delays, and delivery challenges.
- Build strong relationships with senior business stakeholders, technology leaders, operational teams, and third-party suppliers.
- Manage stakeholder expectations through clear communication, effective governance, and transparent reporting.
- Prepare and present project updates to Steering Committees, Directors, Executive Leadership teams, and programme governance forums.
- Influence decision-making and drive timely resolution of issues and blockers.
- Hold delivery teams accountable for commitments, milestones, actions, and agreed outcomes.
- Escalate delivery issues and performance concerns appropriately while supporting teams in achieving successful outcomes.
- Drive a proactive approach to issue resolution and continuous improvement.
- Experience with betting and gaming industry (required).
- Expert project planning and delivery management capability, including management of complex dependencies and critical path activities (required).
- Proven experience delivering medium to large-scale business and technology projects (required).
- Demonstrable experience holding cross-functional teams accountable for delivery outcomes (required).
- Excellent stakeholder management experience across Executive, operational, and technical audiences (required).
- Experience leading business change and organisational transformation initiatives (required).
- Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery environments (required).
- Experience managing third-party suppliers and technology partners (required).
