Regular/ Senior QA Engineer (b2b agreement)
Yggdrasil is looking for a passionate Regular or Senior QA Engineer to join the development team and contribute to the Games Portfolio. The role involves taking an active part in the full project lifecycle, from the early stages of development through to the final release of gaming products.
The successful candidate will focus on maintaining high standards of quality and reliability. This position offers the opportunity to work within a cross-functional agile team, collaborating closely with developers to ensure the delivery of superior gaming solutions.
- Participate in and support the project quality assurance process.
- Help define and implement test architecture within the project.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using Java.
- Take part in the full project lifecycle, from early development stages to final release.
- Track, report, and provide feedback on software defects, functional failures, and usability issues.
- Contribute to improving testing patterns and enhancing the automation framework.
- Collaborate closely with developers and other QA Engineers in a cross-functional agile team.
- Support ensuring high quality and reliability of gaming products.
- Commercial or strong practical experience in test automation, preferably in REST API testing (required)
- Experience or hands-on knowledge of automation frameworks such as RestAssured and Selenium (required)
- Good knowledge of Java (required)
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills (required)
- Experience or interest in working with Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker environments (required)
- At least basic knowledge of SQL (required)
- Understanding of the basics of continuous integration (required)
- Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken (required)
- Eager to learn, proactive, and quality-focused (required)
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript (nice-to-have)
- Experience working with Spring (nice-to-have)
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions (nice-to-have)
- Experience with AWS cloud services (nice-to-have)
- B2B - 3,500 – 5,500 EUR net + VAT monthly.
