Technical Writer
Aristocrat is seeking a Technical Writer to produce games-related documentation and other supporting documents in order to communicate business and technical information. The role involves writing and maintaining all generic documentation for Premium games, including Working Papers and Games Rules, clearly describing game features and functionality.
The Technical Writer will determine the documentation needs of different end users, study product samples, and capture information from product managers and developers. They will analyze, coordinate, prioritize, and compile the information into different document types, using game screenshots to increase users’ understanding and standardize content across the Studio. The role also includes gathering usability feedback from customers and revising documents as new updates and issues arise.
- Write and maintain all generic documentation for Premium games - Working Papers and Games Rules.
- Clearly describe game features and functionality.
- Determine the documentation needs of different end users.
- Study product samples and capture information from product managers and developers.
- Analyze, coordinate, prioritize, and compile the information into different document types (Working Papers, Games Rules).
- Use games screenshots that increase users’ understanding.
- Standardize content across the Studio.
- Gather usability feedback from customers.
- Revise documents as new updates and issues arise.
- At least 2 years of experience in technical writing of software documentation (required).
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science/ Software Engineering or related field (nice-to-have).
- An ability to deliver high quality documentation, paying attention to detail within given time (required).
- Excellent written and verbal English level (required).
