Project Manager
Kaizen Gaming, the team powering Betano, is looking for a Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams through high-value strategic initiatives. This role requires an individual who can bring order to complexity, navigate ambiguity, and manage competing priorities and tight timelines.
Reporting to the Program Manager, the Project Manager will sit at the intersection of competing priorities, tight timelines, and real organizational stakes. The ideal candidate is someone who cannot leave a problem half-solved, takes ownership, and loves chasing outcomes.
- Manage cross-functional project teams of 25+ members; coach, mentor, and supervise team members to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Determine and document project scope, gather and validate requirements, and secure sign-offs from key stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans; break down high-level scopes into actionable tasks; monitor and manage project progress to ensure successful delivery.
- Identify resource needs, establish milestones, and utilise project schedules to track activities effectively.
- Provide consistent updates to various stakeholders, including upper management, on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues to minimise impact on timelines, quality, and outcomes.
- Apply best practices and domain knowledge in online gaming (or related industries) to continuously improve project deliverables and outcomes.
- Work closely with Business Development, Compliance, Product, Development, Finance, HR, Legal, and other teams to align project objectives with organisational goals.
- Contribute to building standardised project management practices, templates, and tools to strengthen PM capabilities across the organisation.
- Lead project retrospectives and present lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
- 3+ years in project management or roles involving delivery flow oversight and team alignment (required).
- Experience in online gaming, fintech, or software development industries (preferred).
- Expertise in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Wrike, MS Project) (required).
- Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) (required).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) (required).
- Proven ability to lead large teams, manage complexity, and deliver results under tight deadlines (required).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; confident in presenting to senior stakeholders and executives (required).
- Strong organisational, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities; a proactive mindset with a bias for action (required).
- Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) (preferred).
- Familiarity with AI-powered productivity and project management tools (e.g., AI-driven scheduling, automated reporting, or LLM-assisted documentation) (nice-to-have).
