Esports Supervisor Team Lead
Betby is seeking an Esports Supervisor Team Lead to manage a key operational team within a dynamic and ambitious project. The role involves taking ownership of the operational quality of the entire esports line, leading the supervisor team, and establishing robust standards to ensure smooth 24/7 operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for shift planning, workload distribution, and maintaining high standards for all esports line elements. This position serves as the primary escalation point for operational issues and requires close coordination with various departments including Trading, Risk, Product, and Tech to ensure timely resolutions and systematic process improvements.
- Lead the supervisor team through shift planning, workload distribution, and full 24/7 coverage.
- Ensure the quality of all esports line elements including matches, markets, tournaments, merging, and site display.
- Build and maintain supervisor work standards such as checklists, SOPs, and processes.
- Onboard, train, and develop the team by building Junior, Middle, and Senior grade frameworks.
- Act as the main escalation point for all esports operational issues.
- Coordinate with Trading, Risk, Brands, Product, and Tech to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Identify weak spots in operational processes and drive systematic improvements.
- Oversee monitoring of competitor websites and schedule sites to identify matches missing from the lineup, ensuring timely booking from providers (Redfeed, Pandascore, LSport) or escalation to the trading team.
- Ensure a daily schedule for match coverage is prepared and followed by the trading team.
- Monitor the quality of the trading team's work against the schedule and trading standards.
- Ensure correct setup of all match elements including margin, source priorities, match availability in the lineup, etc.
- Ensure constant monitoring of the esports page including on the demo version and on key esports brands, keeping the line free of blocked matches, duplicates, incorrect team display, blacklisted matches, and missing team logos.
- Oversee tournament name structuring on the site for clear and concise display.
- Ensure all unresolved matches are calculated and closed out.
- Oversee creation of widgets for all esports brands according to standards, verifying correct display.
- Ensure system stability is monitored through dedicated monitoring services.
- Maintain timely communication with all interested parties on esports page issues, and ensure all brand requests are handled promptly.
- Experience working at a bookmaker/betting company in a Trading Team Lead or Supervisor Team Lead role (required).
- Strong knowledge of esports disciplines, as well as the specifics of esports betting (required).
- English level B2 or above (required).
- Experience managing people including onboarding, training, and monitoring work performance (required).
- Analytical, structured mindset with strong attention to detail (required).
