US Sports Trading Analyst
Betby is looking for a US Sports Trading Analyst to join the team in a hybrid role that combines trading and analysis. The successful candidate will work alongside traders on day-to-day product operations while taking ownership of reporting, benchmarking, and performance analysis.
This role ensures that the team and management maintain a clear and accurate picture of product performance. The analyst will evaluate how the product compares to the wider market and identify specific areas for improvement.
- Maintaining the team's reports and trading documentation.
- Creating presentations for management.
- Benchmarking the company offering against competitors, including odds, market depth, player market coverage, and Bet Builder availability.
- Analysing performance on core US competitions and international competitions across all four major sports.
- Analysing margin structures by sport, competition, and market type, and recommending changes.
- Building and maintaining provider scorecards covering odds accuracy, coverage, suspension timing, and settlement errors.
- Building trackers and checks that help traders catch problems before customers do.
- 2+ years in trading, trading analysis, or a closely related role in sports betting (required).
- Knowledge of odds, margins, markets, and providers (required).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft and Google tools such as Excel and Google Sheets (required).
- Fluent spoken and written English (required).
- Ability to write clear, concise reports for people both in and outside of trading (required).
- Genuine interest in at least two of basketball, ice hockey, baseball, or American football (required).
- Familiarity with Bet Builder products (nice-to-have).
