Frontend Engineering Team Lead
The Sportsbook Area within Product Development is now hiring a Frontend Engineering Team Lead. This role supports the Engineering Manager in development, quality assurance, and product management, while also having direct reports.
The Team Lead will work closely with team members to ensure successful project completion and support all roll-out services. They will enable continuous improvement and be responsible for vacation planning for their direct reports. The role involves holding periodic one-to-one meetings to support individual performance and development, working closely with HR. Motivating the team to improve performance and ensuring team members are supported is key. The Team Lead will lead team efforts, including engineers, developers, and designers, towards successful project delivery for customers. Collaboration with various stakeholders, maintaining a focus on business goals, is also a core part of the role.
- Working closely with members of the team to ensure successful completion of projects and overall support with all roll-out services.
- Enabling continuous improvement by supporting when needed.
- Being responsible for vacation planning of your direct reports.
- Holding periodic one-to-one meetings to ensure that every individual can perform at his/her best and supporting the development via close work with HR.
- Motivating the team into improving its performance and ensure that team members are always supported.
- Leading team efforts (engineers, developers, designers and other team members) towards successful project delivery for our customers.
- Collaborating with various stakeholders, maintaining a focus on business goals.
- Development background in building highly scalable, containerized services and applications (required).
- Strong preference for experience in Angular (preferred).
- Good understanding of modern web technology (Javascript, TypeScript, etc) (required).
- Familiarity with .NET Core, C#, messaging systems (Rabbit MQ) and in-memory databases (Redis, MS SQL) (required).
- Deep understanding and interest in lean and agile principles for product development (required).
- Demonstrated ability to build effective teams, motivate, direct and coach staff (required).
