Description

Betsson Group is looking for a Manual QA Engineer to help build and support the quality of its brands. As part of an end-to-end team, the successful candidate will apply testing skills to cover a wide range of scenarios involving commercial and regulatory components, ensuring that no bugs reach the production environment.

The role involves working within a fast-paced, international environment where innovation and pushing boundaries are encouraged. The QA Engineer will play a critical role in maintaining high software standards across the company's global product development organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Test Plans: Create comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to embed quality practices throughout the development lifecycle and contribute to quality-focused initiatives.
  • Manual Testing: Conduct detailed manual testing to validate software functionality, performance, and user experience.
  • Monitor Quality Standards: Track and ensure adherence to quality requirements during development and support the team in identifying and resolving defects early.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document test results, maintain issue tracking, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
  • Support: Assist in ensuring quality gates are met and support the team in maintaining high-quality release standards.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or a related role, with a focus on manual testing (required).
  • Solid understanding of quality methodologies, best practices, and techniques for effective test coverage (required).
  • Familiarity with test management tools like TestRail for organising and tracking test cases (required).
  • Experience using issue tracking tools like JIRA and documentation tools like Confluence (required).
  • A self-starter mindset, strong analytical skills, and a positive “can-do” attitude (required).
  • A strong passion for testing and improving product quality (nice-to-have).
  • Exposure to Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices (nice-to-have).
  • ISTQB Certification or equivalent qualification in software testing (nice-to-have).
  • Familiarity with online gambling platforms, particularly sports betting applications (nice-to-have).
  • Experience in Frontend Test automation framework (nice-to-have).
  • Experience with frontend frameworks like Angular is a plus (nice-to-have).
