Sportsbook - Backend Team Lead
Betsson Group is seeking an experienced Software Engineer with a passion for leadership to join the Sportsbook Area within Product Development. The company has a world-class Sportsbook, developed in-house by a dedicated Sportsbook tech team. The Sportsbook Platform is owned entirely by Betsson Group, from its Architecture to its Trading teams. This in-house platform hosts the company's brands and offers Sports betting to customers. The teams are the backbone of making this happen, from the tools traders use to the cutting-edge features customers use to bet on various sports.
- Leading team efforts (engineers, developers, testers) towards successful project delivery.
- Developing with members of your team to ensure successful completion of business objectives and providing hands-on support with all roll-out services.
- Motivating the team into improving its performance.
- Ensuring that every individual can perform at his/her best and supporting personal development via work with HR.
- Collaborating with various stakeholders, maintaining a focus on business goals.
- Development background in building highly scalable, containerized services and applications (required).
- Proficiency in .NET Core, C#, messaging systems (Rabbit MQ) and in-memory databases (Redis, MS SQL) (required).
- Familiarity with modern web technology (Angular, JavaScript, Typescript) (required).
- Deep understanding and natural tendency to lean agile principles and practices for product development (required).
- Demonstrated ability to build on complex software systems and deliver solutions for business in timely manner (required).
- Skills to lead teams effectively, motivate, direct and coach staff (required).
