Corporate Accountant
The Corporate Accountant will manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, payments, collections, and cash application. This role supports month-end close procedures, such as journal entries, bank reconciliations, prepaids, and accruals. The accountant will also administer the expense policy, reviewing submissions, enforcing compliance, and following up with the team.
The position contributes to reporting and compliance efforts, including supporting the annual audit by preparing schedules, pulling documentation, and responding to auditor requests. The accountant will also contribute to internal reporting and quarterly deliverables with accurate, timely supporting schedules and support tax and regulatory compliance projects as needed.
Furthermore, the Corporate Accountant plays an active role in Finance automation projects, helping to design, build, and refine AI-powered workflows and tools. They will support the development and maintenance of SOPs and internal policies as processes evolve. This role involves partnering with other teams across the business on a wide range of projects and handling sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment.
- Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable - invoicing, payments, collections, and cash application.
- Support month-end close: journal entries, bank reconciliations, prepaids, accruals, etc.

- Support the annual audit: preparing schedules, pulling documentation, and responding to auditor requests.

- Play an active role in Finance automation projects - helping design, build, and refine AI-powered workflows and tools as the company continues to evolve how it operates.
- Support the development and maintenance of SOPs and internal policies as processes evolve.
- Partner with other teams across the business on a wide range of projects.
- Handle sensitive information - contracts, payroll data, compliance documents - with discretion and sound judgment.
- 2–3+ years of hands-on accounting experience - GL, AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, journal entries (required).
- Experience with ERP systems (required).
- NetSuite preferred or a strong ability to learn it quickly (preferred).
- Highly proficient in Excel and/or Google Sheets (required).
- Post-secondary education in Business, Accounting, or Finance required (required).
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (preferred).
- Familiarity with Claude and using AI to build solutions and drive productivity (required).
