Marketing Assistant
This role supports the implementation of the annual Betway Casino brand communication strategy across multiple African markets. It involves coordinating with in-country marketing teams to execute local campaigns effectively and in line with brand standards.
The Marketing Assistant will assist in developing and delivering campaign assets across digital, social media, and traditional marketing channels. They will manage weekly status meetings with market teams to ensure campaign milestones and deadlines are achieved.
Further responsibilities include supporting the planning, scheduling, and administration of regional media buying activities for casino campaigns. The role also entails developing and coordinating casino-related content, monitoring campaign performance, and compiling post-campaign reports and insights.
Additionally, the Marketing Assistant will identify opportunities to improve customer engagement, assist with sponsorship, ambassador, and influencer activations, and support budget planning, expense tracking, and forecasting activities. Collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and effective campaign delivery is also key.

- Assist with sponsorship, ambassador and influencer activations to maximise campaign reach and effectiveness.
- Support budget planning, expense tracking and forecasting activities across regional and local marketing initiatives.
- Ensure marketing expenditure is accurately reported, aligned to budget and correctly reflected across different currencies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and effective campaign delivery across all marketing functions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with multiple stakeholders (required).
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail (required).
- The ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and priorities simultaneously (required).
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities with confidence working with marketing performance data (required).

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint (required).

- Experience supporting marketing campaigns across digital, social media or brand marketing channels (required).
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects without dropping the ball (required).
- Previous experience within the online gaming, sports betting or casino industry (nice-to-have).
- Knowledge of digital marketing, social media management and paid media channels (nice-to-have).
- Experience coordinating sponsorship, influencer or ambassador campaigns (nice-to-have).
- Understanding of marketing budget management and financial reporting processes (nice-to-have).
- Experience working across multiple markets or regions within Africa (nice-to-have).
- Familiarity with campaign reporting tools and marketing analytics platforms (nice-to-have).
