Senior Accountant
As a Senior Accountant, the successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting across multiple legal entities. The role involves owning key aspects of the month-end close process, supporting statutory and regulatory reporting, and collaborating with teams across Finance and the business to deliver timely and reliable financial information.
The work performed will help strengthen accounting operations, improve reporting processes, and support the continued growth of the business through scalable and efficient solutions.
- Own designated subsidiary close activities, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete financial reporting.
- Prepare and support internal and external financial reporting, including statutory reporting and other regulatory compliance requirements.
- Partner with the Financial Planning and Analysis Team, Tax Team, Technical Accounting Team, Legal Team, and other cross-functional stakeholders to support reporting needs and business initiatives.
- Coordinate with external auditors and support statutory audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit requests.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting and reporting processes through automation, artificial intelligence-enabled solutions, and other efficiency initiatives.
- Help strengthen internal controls and contribute to scalable accounting processes that support a growing organisation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
- At least 4 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in public accounting and/or a fast-paced, high-growth environment (required).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements (required).
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy (required).
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external stakeholders (required).
