Senior QA Tester

Description

As a Senior QA Tester at Eeze, you will drive both manual and automated quality assurance efforts across live casino platforms. You will combine deep exploratory and functional testing expertise with hands-on test automation development to ensure products are stable, scalable, and production-ready.

Where a QA Tester executes against a defined approach, you own it. You take end-to-end responsibility for the quality of a game, integration, or platform area: defining its test strategy, building and maintaining its automated coverage, investigating complex cross-system issues independently, and advising on release readiness. You review the work of other testers, raise testability concerns during refinement, and help less experienced colleagues grow. Through close collaboration with developers, leadership, and cross-functional teams, you help embed quality into every stage of the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Own the test approach and coverage for an assigned game, integration, or platform area end to end.
  • Design and execute manual test cases in Zephyr, and review test cases written by others.
  • Test new features, game flows, and integrations across both frontend and backend.
  • Perform cross-browser testing on desktop and mobile devices, including physical devices and BrowserStack.
  • Conduct sanity and smoke tests on QA, UAT, and Production environments.
  • Assess risk and advise on release readiness for your area.
  • Represent QA in refinement and planning, pushing testability considerations upstream into design.
  • Document clear, detailed, and reproducible bug reports in Jira.
  • Attach screenshots, videos, logs, and Figma design links for better issue tracking.
  • Follow up on stagnating tickets and link related issues for better traceability.
  • Provide meaningful and structured comments in Jira to facilitate collaboration.
  • Independently investigate complex cross-system issues spanning frontend, backend, messaging, and data layers.
  • Investigate frontend issues using Chrome DevTools (console, network tab, Redux DevTools, WebSocket monitoring).
  • Test backend APIs and WebSockets using Swagger and Postman.
  • Validate data in PostgreSQL using a database client (DBeaver).
  • Analyze logs in Kibana or Groundcover and monitor Kafka topics via RedPanda.
  • Independently author and maintain Playwright automated tests for E2E and API coverage.
  • Own and maintain the regression suite for your area, keeping it stable, meaningful, and fast enough to run continuously.
  • Review automation code written by other testers and give actionable feedback.
  • Identify manual regression that is worth automating and make the case for it.
  • Contribute improvements to shared automation utilities, fixtures, and patterns.
  • Support team members through pairing, test case reviews, and sharing testing approaches to raise overall team quality.
  • Act as a first point of escalation for QA Testers on technical or process blockers.
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to improve Agile testing practices.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing, ideally in web-based applications. (required)
  • Demonstrated ownership of quality for a product area, not only execution of assigned test cases. (required)
  • Strong knowledge of test case design, execution, and defect reporting. (required)
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated tests with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium. (required)
  • Experience testing REST APIs using Postman or Swagger. (required)
  • Familiarity with browser debugging tools (Chrome DevTools, Redux DevTools). (required)
  • Exposure to Kafka, WebSockets, or real-time messaging in testing. (required)
  • Working SQL knowledge for database validation. (required)
  • Strong understanding of Agile development and sprint-based testing. (required)
  • Clear and structured Jira documentation for bug reporting and follow-ups. (required)
  • Experience supporting or mentoring less experienced testers. (required)
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript beyond test scripting. (nice-to-have)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and running automated suites within them. (nice-to-have)
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (Lighthouse, Artillery). (nice-to-have)
  • Experience in online gaming, live streaming, or other real-time applications. (nice-to-have)
Benefits
  • Experience a dynamic and team-orientated work environment.
  • Opportunities for personal growth and learning.
  • An open, inclusive and supportive team where you will be valued, and your suggestions will be welcome.
