Commercial Partnerships Manager – Sports Suppliers
As a Commercial Partnership Manager - Sports Content, the individual will grow several of Entain's third-party sports content relationships which underpin the global sportsbook offering. The role sits within the wider Group Procurement Department and encompasses full end-to-end supplier and commercial management, including sourcing, contract negotiation, in-life monitoring, financial analysis, performance management, and supplier relationship management.
The individual will be central to the continued success of Entain's sportsbook offering, acting as the conduit between multiple company partners and third parties. Reporting to the Senior Manager, the role involves influencing multi-million pound spend across multiple sports content categories including data, streaming, trading, virtual, and operations.
- Lead the relationships between Entain and its third-party sports content providers.
- Design and implement commercial strategies to ensure value for Entain during contract negotiations with third parties.
- Manage the full negotiation process with selected third parties, including contract pipeline, requirements gathering, supplier selection, contracting, and approval.
- Undertake and maintain financial analysis on third parties, the products they provide, and how they perform for Entain.
- Organise or attend forums with company partners and suppliers to resolve issues and strengthen cross-party working.
- Contribute to the overall strategy for how Entain works with its sports content third parties both now and in the future.
- Maintain a deep working knowledge of assigned suppliers and services as well as the wider sports Entain ecosystem.
- Experience of directly managing third parties (Procurement/Commercial) essential (required).
- Commercial experience (including strategy creation, implementation and benefit delivery) (required).
- TCO modelling experience to define cost structures (required).
- Experience working with legal and directly negotiating contracts (preferred).
- Numerate with experience working with complex data sets (required).
- Interest in sports or gambling industry advantageous but not essential (nice-to-have).
- Sports/sports betting experience advantageous but not essential (nice-to-have).
- Graduate calibre with Bachelor's degree in applicable field (required).
- Post-graduate qualification (e.g. MSc/MBA) or a professional qualification such as MCIPS is desirable but not essential (nice-to-have).
- Project Management qualification desirable but not essential (nice-to-have).
- Technically and commercially astute (required).
