Description

Entain is looking for a Senior Strategy Manager to help shape and execute the strategic agenda across its Americas and Southern Europe markets. This role acts as a link between strategy and execution, working closely with regional leadership teams to identify growth opportunities, support investment decisions, and drive initiatives that improve financial performance across a diverse portfolio of markets and brands.

Reporting to the Director of Strategy, the successful candidate will be part of the Americas and Southern Europe Strategy Team, partnering with leadership across regions including Canada, Brazil, Italy, Spain, and Portugal. The role involves leading high-impact strategic planning projects, developing commercial and growth strategies, and collaborating with teams across Digital, Product and Technology, Operations, Marketing, and Sales to turn strategic priorities into measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead high-visibility, growth strategy projects by conducting strategic analysis, financial modelling, and synthesising conclusions for executive leaders and functional leads.
  • Lead the development and implementation of plans to operationalise strategy to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and competitive positioning across the region.
  • Provide strategic guidance to and support engagement with key external vendors such as sports and media partners, suppliers, and agencies.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement structures to evaluate and optimise performance.
  • Oversee and analyse data to derive business insights to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Leverage externally obtained knowledge to provide thought leadership and a growth perspective to the organisation.
  • Proactively lead and facilitate the flow of ideas and information within the broader company.
Requirements
  • Strong undergraduate degree (required)
  • Extensive experience in strategy consulting, ideally at a top-tier consultancy such as McKinsey, BCG, Bain, OW, or Kearney (required)
  • 6-10 years of experience post-undergraduate or more than 2-3 years post-MBA (required)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with ambiguity (required)
  • Knowledge and ability to apply business frameworks such as value chain, competitive forces, and core competency analysis (required)
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis (required)
  • Proficiency in business writing and verbal communications, including delivery of presentations to executive business leaders (required)
  • Strong levels of project management and operational execution (required)
  • Strong interest in betting, games, media, technology, and entertainment industries (required)
  • Fluent English speaker (required)
  • Spanish or Portuguese language skills (nice-to-have)
