Junior QA Engineer
EveryMatrix is looking for a passionate and dedicated Junior QA Engineer to join the team in Lviv. The role involves ensuring the quality of iGaming software through rigorous testing processes and collaboration with development teams.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test cases across various platforms, including APIs, web, and mobile applications. The role focuses on maintaining high standards of software performance and reliability through both manual and automated testing efforts.
- Design, maintain, and execute test cases for APIs, web, and mobile applications.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across services and applications.
- Work with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, or similar) to validate endpoints, requests, and responses.
- Apply basic OOP concepts when writing or maintaining automated tests.
- Execute manual testing for web and mobile apps (UI/UX, cross-browser, cross-platform).
- Participate in bug reporting, verification, and tracking in tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate closely with developers to clarify requirements and reproduce issues.
- Support the QA team in building automation coverage and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Contribute to QA documentation: test plans, test reports, and checklists.
- 1+ years of QA experience (required)
- Practical experience with API testing (required)
- Knowledge of HTTP, JSON, XML, and authentication methods (OAuth, JWT, API keys) (required)
- Hands-on experience in web testing (desktop & responsive) and mobile app testing (iOS/Android) (required)
- Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (required)
- Understanding of basic OOP principles (inheritance, encapsulation, abstraction, polymorphism) (required)
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail) (required)
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team (required)
- Start with 22 days of annual leave, with 2 additional days added each year, up to 32 days by your fifth year.
