Accounting Intern (Technician/Technologist)
Evolution is seeking an accounting intern (technician or technologist) to join its finance team. The role is designed to provide operational support in the daily tasks of the accounting department, ensuring the correct recording and organisation of the company's financial information.
The selected intern will collaborate closely with the accounting team on closing processes, reconciliations, and document management. This position offers an opportunity for practical learning in a dynamic and constantly growing corporate environment.
- Support in the recording and updating of daily accounting.
- Collaborate in the recording and documentation of payments, monthly closing, bank reconciliations, balance and inventory reconciliations, and other records required by the accounting department.
- Archive and organise accounting and tax supporting documents in accordance with company guidelines.
- Support in the preparation of basic financial reports.
- Support in the preparation and submission of external information and reports to control bodies, as required by the department.
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting department, including document management, handling internal requests, and invoice registration.
- Technician or Technologist in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Accounting and Financial Management, or related areas (required).
- Basic knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS for SMEs) and current tax regulations (required).
- Proficiency in office tools (Excel intermediate/advanced level, Word) (required).
- Basic knowledge of accounting software (SAP, Siigo, World Office, Helisa, or others) (nice-to-have).
- Interest in continuous updating of accounting and tax information (required).
- Responsibility and attention to detail (required).
- Ability to learn and work in a team (required).
- Organisation and time management skills (required).
