Marketing Intern (Technical/Technologist)
Evolution is looking for a technical or technologist intern to join the accounting department. The role is designed to provide administrative and operational support in the company's daily financial processes.
The selected intern will have the opportunity to learn and collaborate on key accounting tasks, contributing to the maintenance of accurate records and compliance with current regulations under the supervision of the accounting team.
- Support in the recording and updating of daily accounting.
- Collaborate in the recording and documentation of payments, monthly closing, bank reconciliations, balance reconciliations, inventory, and other records required by the accounting department.
- File and organise accounting and tax supporting documents in accordance with company guidelines.
- Support in the preparation of basic financial reports.
- Support in the preparation and sending of exogenous information and reports to regulatory bodies, as required by the department.
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting department, including document management, handling internal requests, and registering invoices.
- Technical or Technologist in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Accounting and Financial Management, or related areas (required).
- Basic knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS for SMEs) and current tax regulations (required).
- Proficiency in office tools, specifically intermediate/advanced Excel and Word (required).
- Basic knowledge of accounting software such as SAP, Siigo, World Office, Helisa, or others (preferred).
- Interest in continuous updating of accounting and tax information (required).
- Responsibility and attention to detail (required).
- Ability to learn and work in a team (required).
- Organisation and time management skills (required).
- Discretion and confidential handling of information (required).
- Proactivity and willingness for continuous learning in accounting processes (required).
