Commercial Analyst – Casino

Description

The Commercial Analyst will support the Commercial team to optimise the Casino VIP proposition and guide the approach to Casino VIP strategy, including its connection to group VIP strategy and Casino strategy. They will play an important role in deriving business and customer insights, monitoring business performance, and spotting trends. This role will have a specific analytical focus on understanding VIP trends and behaviours.

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Establish measures of success and create, modify, and evolve data visualizations to better understand and explain the performance of various KPIs.
  • Translate analysis into actionable insights by identifying key trends and recommending strategic opportunities to enhance VIP initiatives.
  • Help evaluate and assess ROI of new ideas and build business cases to support investment decisions.
  • Work with key stakeholders across commercial, analytics, VIP, ops, product, and marketing to assess performance and provide actionable insights to drive revenue cross-functionally.
  • Collaborate with RG team to ensure VIP strategy is consistently aligned with RG principles.
  • Engage with Sportsbook VIP team to derive group level insights into VIP behaviors, generosity and CX.
  • Monitor the business performance, key drivers and trends, and report to the leadership team.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an analytics role (required).
  • Bachelor's Degree in a highly numerate major (Math, Stats, Econ, etc.) or relevant experience in data and/or business analysis (required).
  • Proficiency in SQL and Excel (required).
  • Experience with Python or R (nice-to-have).
  • Proficient with Tableau or similar data visualisation tools with experience creating PowerPoint decks (required).
  • Proficient in using AI tools, including checking outputs and integrating outputs into workflows (required).
  • Strong personal organisational and time management skills (required).
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, along with a track record of transforming data into actionable business insight (required).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a lot of ambiguity (required).
  • Interest in Online Casino, Fantasy Sports and/or Sports Betting (preferred).
