Senior Product Analyst
FanDuel Group is looking to add a Senior Product Analyst to join the Sports Product team. The role is responsible for driving business results and empowering data-driven product decisions with timely insights and thought partnership. The analyst will be a champion of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement, ensuring the company is positioned to capitalise on opportunities as they arise.
As one of the more senior analysts, the individual will play a lead role in a high-performing analytics team, providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members, even though this is not a managerial position. The role involves partnering with product leaders to leverage customer insights to drive product decisions, acting as an authority for customer behavioural data to reshape understanding of customer behaviour and business performance, and working alongside product, commercial, and other teams to help define how to measure success.
- Consistently deliver accurate, timely and high-quality analysis and insights to stakeholders.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
- Demonstrate analytics excellence, innovating how we access, analyze, and share insights.
- Partner with product leaders to leverage customer insights to drive product decisions.
- Be an authority for customer behavioral data; using data to reshape our understanding of customer behavior & business performance.
- Work alongside product, commercial and other teams to help define how to measure success.
- Design and lead complex cross-functional experimentation initiatives.
- Co-create experiment documentation, best practices and trainings.
- Integrate AI tools into analytical workflows to accelerate delivery, reduce manual overhead, and enhance team output quality.
- Partner with product teams to craft high-quality experiments and output insights.
- Drive experimentation velocity with product teams.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in an analytical position (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or related field (required).
- Sophisticated SQL expertise (required).
- Experience with Amplitude Analytics (preferred).
- Experience with other languages such as R and Python (preferred).
- Experience in mentoring and coaching junior analysts (preferred).
- An excellent understanding of product metrics and the latest techniques in measuring customer experience and app performance (required).
- Experience with A/B testing & Experimentation methodologies and tools (required).
- Proven track record in the implementation of analytics and measurement solutions in a digital ecosystem (required).
- Significant experience building intuitive and impactful data visualizations that drive business decisions (e.g., with Tableau, Mode, Amplitude, Adobe, or similar) (required).
- Excellent communication and data storytelling skills (required).
- Able to influence decision makers at all levels with data-driven insights (required).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of management (required).
- Ability to work as part of a team in a very fast-paced and changing environment (required).
- Understanding of business priorities and ability to work to meet them (required).
