Information Security Analyst
The Information Security Analyst is responsible for driving the security-related tasks of the IT operations across Immense, whilst also working with various departments to ensure continual abidance by industry best practices, be aware of and mitigate security risks whilst continually improving the overall Immense's information security culture and posture.
This role involves championing all aspects of information security strategy and operations across the company. It requires maintaining organisational readiness and compliance with ISO 27001, and driving information security initiatives including security awareness and training. The analyst will independently plan and perform vulnerability testing against various systems, create and maintain information security policies, and conduct information security audits. The position also includes performing regular internal reviews of access rights, managing the security monitoring of the IT infrastructure, and handling day-to-day alerting and reporting of endpoint management.
- Champion all aspects of information security strategy and operations across the company.
- Maintain organisational readiness and compliance with ISO 27001.
- Drive information security initiatives including Security Awareness and Training.
- Independently plan and perform vulnerability testing against various systems utilizing a variety of industry-standard security tools to conduct a mixture of automated and manual-based security assessments.
- Create and regularly maintain information security and related policies and guidelines.
- Conduct and/or act as the primary point of reference for information security audits.
- Perform regular internal reviews of access rights and maintain a centralized detailed permissions list.
- Ensure the risk assessment within the IT area is up to date whilst also carrying out continual monitoring.
- Manage the security monitoring of the IT infrastructure.
- Handle day to day alerting and reporting of endpoint management and ensuring necessary actions are undertaken by responsible teams.
- Perform threat monitoring via various security feeds.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role (required).
- Knowledge of standards such as ISO27001, PCI DSS or ITIL (required).
- Bachelor in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar (required).
- Holds CEH, Security+ or similar certification (required).
- Passion for ethical hacking and attack techniques (required).
- Proven knowledge of Windows and Linux environments (required).
